These terms are the agreement between you and Ark Parental Control. Please read them — especially the rules on lawful use and monitoring only your own children.
Last updated: 15 June 2026 · Effective: 15 June 2026
By creating an account, downloading, or using the Ark Parental Control apps, website or related services (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Ark Parental Control is a family-safety service that lets a parent or legal guardian set screen-time limits, filter web and app content, view activity, and see location and safe-zone alerts for their own minor child's device. Specific capabilities vary by device and operating system, as described on our features page. We may add, change or remove features over time.
This is the most important rule of the Service:
Ark Parental Control is intended as a tool for responsible parenting and family safety. It is not designed or licensed for covert surveillance, stalking, or any unlawful purpose, and we will cooperate with lawful requests from authorities regarding misuse.
You agree not to:
When you set up the Service on a child's device, you confirm that you are that child's parent or legal guardian and that you provide consent, on the child's behalf, to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for using the Service in your child's best interests and for explaining it to them in an age-appropriate way. You can pause monitoring, unpair a device, or delete your child's data at any time.
Parts of the Service may be offered free of charge and others through a paid subscription. Where you purchase a subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, billing, renewals and refunds are handled by that store under its own terms, and you manage or cancel the subscription in your store account. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Taxes may apply. We may change pricing prospectively with notice.
The Service, including its software, design, logos and content, is owned by Ark Parental Control or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, family use in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of the content you and your family create; you grant us only the limited license needed to operate the Service.
The Service runs on Apple and Google operating systems and uses their safety technologies. Your use is also subject to those platforms' terms. We are not responsible for changes those platforms make that affect available features. Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not responsible for, the Service.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we work hard to make it reliable, no parental-control tool is perfect, and the Service is not a substitute for parental supervision. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will block or capture every item of content, app, website or location. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ark Parental Control and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ark Parental Control from claims, damages and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party — including any use of monitoring features beyond the lawful supervision of your own minor child.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers, liability limits and indemnification) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
